The student-youth theatre “Medart”
In October 2016, the student-youth theatre “Medart” was established. The purpose of the creation is to promote the development of students' creative abilities; the formation of the historical and cultural heritage of people, the formation of spiritual culture. There are about 25 students in the theater.
In December of 2016 year the theatre took part in the regional theatrical festival “New scene” organized by the regional youth policy department and the theatre-studio “Academy of arts” and became the winner in the nomination “Best Performance”. At this festival the theatre staged the psychological drama “Chornaya Burka” by Giorgi Khugaev.
In December 2017 the theatre took part in the republic theatrical competition “Melpomene 2017” in Kokshetau and took the 1st place.
Theatre “Medart” is also active in the university. Until now, the theater has presented the drama “ZhetimTagdir” by the Honored worker of Kazakhstan Jabal Ergaliev in the framework of the program “Rukhani Zhanqyru” (Spiritual Revival).
In November 2018, the theatre “Medart” presented premiere of performance “Kosh, Mahabbat!” by Mukhagali Makhataev in Aktobe regional drama theatre named after Takhaui Akhtanov.
