Medical-volunteer club "Мейірім"
The volunteer club "Мейірім" was established in December 2011 and to this day is an active volunteer club in the West Kazakhstan State Medical University named after Marat Ospanov.
The club includes more than 100 students, of which 23 students are the most experienced volunteers with volunteering experience from 2 to 3 years. Every year, the volunteer club "Мейірім" takes part in numerous events of regional and republican scale.
From 2018-2019, the club "Мейірім" was change into a medical-volunteer club, which in turn will introduce work in 2 directions:
1) Medical events, according to the WHO World Calendar;
2) Volunteer movement Y-peer - increasing literacy in the field of reproductive health among adolescents.
Main directions:
1. Promotion of equal learning;
2. Strengthening the health of young people;
3. Promoting sexual and reproductive health;
4. Family planning;
5. Prevention of HIV / AIDS and sexually transmitted infections;
6. Development of leadership potential of young people.
