West Kazakhstan Medical University M. Ospanova, with the support of the Akimat of the Aktobe region according to the annual tradition, holds a large-scale event called "X Charity Ball".

The very first charity ball took place in 2009, in the main building of the university. For ten years of the “Charity Ball” financial assistance has been rendered to socially vulnerable people in the amount of 30 million tenge, in amounts of more than 200 people.

The main objective of the event is to draw public attention to the social problem of orphans and children with disabilities. On December 5, 2019, the “X Charity Ball” was held in Aktobe. The scale of the event is growing every year, attracting more attention of citizens and thereby increasing social and material support for those in need.

This year we are holding the X Nutcracker-style Charity Ball. The event will be attended by newcomers as well as special children who will take part despite their illness (cerebral palsy, autism) and much more.

The guests of the ball were the deputy akim of the region, deputies, businessmen, youth and employees, students of WKMU named after M. Ospanova, and well-known artists of Kazakhstan Miras Zhugunusov will also be involved.

A charity ball is not only a secular and cultural event, but also a way to attract public attention to social problems. The collected funds go to the benefit of organizations for the protection of the rights of people with disabilities, the treatment of seriously ill children, orphans and families in need. The scale of the event is growing every year, attracting more attention of citizens and thereby increasing social and material support for those in need.
