COURSE OF THE RUSSIAN LANGUAGE
Teaching Russian at the University is carried out since May, 1970, when the department of the Latin and Russian languages was organized. The first teachers were a graduate of KazSU L.A. Polyakova and a graduate of the Orenburg Pedagogical Institute N.V. Ovsyannikova, thanks to whom the foundations of educational work with students of junior courses were laid. In the early 70's, the faculty was also staffed by teachers K. Pusyrmanova, V.P. Makarova, R.B. Shanova.
In December 1989 an independent department of the Russian language was organized. It was headed by a graduate of the API named after Abay, the senior teacher Railya Bakiyevna Shanova – a vigorous, strong-willed and purposeful person, with the creativity towards her job. At the department of the Russian language during this period the following teachers worked – L.A. Polyakova, S.G. Akchalova, S.I. Birzhanova, N.F. Tkachyeva, G.S. Medeubaeva, N.V. Ovsyannikova.
In September 1995, as a result of the reorganization of the departments, the Russian Language Department became part of the newly organized department of the Latin and Russian languages, headed by candidate of philological sciences, professor E.N. Agapov.

Аfter the division of the Russian and Latin languages Courses, R.B. Shanova was responsible for the Russian language course, and since 2003 to 2010 - senior teacher S.I. Birzhanova. Being an experienced methodologist, mentor of young teachers, she worked for a long time at the preparatory department.
From 2010 to 2012 responsible for the course was the teacher A.B. Abdirgaziyeva, who put a lot of work into the course. Continuing work on creating the educational and methodological basis of the course, she developed the ourse documentation in accordance with the requirements of the QMS.
Since September 2012 to August 2017 the Russian Language Course was led by the Master of Arts, senior teacher G.B. Aldasheva. Since September 2017 head of the Russian language course is Master of Arts, senior teacher A.B. Abdirgazieva.
- Teach students to speak Russian fluently, expand their horizons through educational activities;
- To improve the professional and pedagogical qualifications of teachers and introduce new innovative methods in the educational process.
-Study and development of innovative methods of vocational education at the university;
- Implementation of scientific and pedagogical research of teachers;
-Improving the quality of teaching based on new teaching methods;
-Conducting master classes;
-Publishing publications in the form of electronic and teaching aids.
-Participation in seminars, scientific and practical conferences, training courses;
-Conducting open classes, master classes, improving teaching aids.
-The teachers of the course are engaged in scientific work throughout the academic year. They take an active part in republican, international conferences, publish scientific articles, supervise the scientific work of students.
OUR VETERANS AND COLLEAGUES
The staff of the Russian language course carefully preserves and develops the best traditions and the accumulated experience of training future doctors.The first teachers of the Russian language were:
- graduate of KazSU L.A. Polyakova;
-graduate of the Orenburg Pedagogical Institute N.V. Ovsyannikova.
Thanks to the first teachers, the foundations of teaching and educational work with younger students were laid. Every year the university expanded, strengthened quantitatively and qualitatively: the teaching staff grew, the number of students increased. In the early 70s K. Pusyrmanova, V.P. Makarova, R.B. Shanov and in 1989 L.A. Polyakova, S.G. Akchalova, S.I. Birzhanova, N.F. Tkacheva, G.S. Medeubaeva, N.V. Ovsyannikovа worked at the department.
The half-century history of the course is closely connected with the names of the remarkable teachers Akchalova Svetlana Galievna, Birzhanova Svetlana Ismagulovna.
During the past 15-20 years, many talented teachers of the Russian language have worked at our university, who have always found the keys to the hearts of their students. Among such teachers, who left a bright mark, one can note Urazbaeva M.T., Barlybaeva Z.Zh., Derbisalina A.K., Davletova D.A., Utebayeva G.K., Azimbaeva Zh.A., Kulmukhambetova G.K., Bidanova A.A.Today, graduates of different generations remember them with great gratitude. They deserve the highest titles, awards and endless respect.
Teachers Davletova D.A., Utebaeva G.K., Azimbaeva Zh.A., Bidanova A.A. currently work in the universities of Nur-Sultan and Karaganda, maintaining close contact with colleagues of ZKMU.
